For our photojournalism class we had to take an environmental portrait of someone in the medical field. This is my image. I forgot to take a picture of my setup, but I just used an alien bee with a soft box off to the side. I like the look of the dramatic light. I also like the way the sky was darkened a bit to where it matches his shirt.
I shot this with my Canon 30D
ISO 200, 35mm lens, 1/100 sec @ f/11.5
